Twitter/X Font Tips
Display Name
Your display name supports most Unicode fonts and can be up to 50 characters. This is the best place to use styled text on X. Bold and Script fonts are popular choices.
Bio
Your bio supports Unicode fonts within its 160-character limit. Use styled text sparingly for emphasis. Combine with regular text and emojis for the best visual impact.
Tweets
Unicode fonts work in tweets but count as 2 characters each, effectively halving your character limit. Use them for short emphasis rather than entire tweets.
Character Limit Note
Most Unicode styled characters count as 2 characters towards the 280-character tweet limit. A fully styled tweet gives you roughly 140 visible characters. For display names (50 char limit), you get roughly 25 styled characters. Plan your text accordingly.
