About Braille Text Converter

Braille is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired. It is traditionally written with embossed paper. This converter transforms regular text into Unicode Braille patterns that can be copied and used digitally.

Braille Basics:

  • Each Braille character is made up of six dots arranged in a 3×2 configuration
  • Capital letters are indicated by a special prefix character (⠠)
  • Numbers are indicated by a special prefix character (⠼)
  • After the number sign, letters a-j represent digits 1-0
